After posting a video of himself brandishing a earlier this year, Ja Morant has ensured that his 2023-24 NBA team will start the season with a 25-game losing streak. Another possible scаndаl has engulfed the Memphis Grizzlies player, this time involving an Instagram woman named Yasmine López who allegedly tried to defraud him.

Is Ja Morant the target of an attempted con?

Recently, screenshots of Yasmine López’s alleged swindle of Ja Morant and her alleged attempt to ‘trap’ Philadelphia Eagles player DeSean Jackson with a baby to’secure the bag’ emerged online.

Reacting to the leaked direct messages, supporters on social media said that whomever pulled off the hoax should go to jail, while others pointed out that the screenshots were phony and it was all an elaborate cоnspiracy to implicate her.

Using his Instagram account, Yasmine López responded to the claims by posting a story in which she denied the authenticity of the screenshots and accused fellow model @thecaribbeangyal of forging those direct messages and trying to blame her for something she didn’t commit.

In addition, López said she tried to frame her partner out of spite after learning of her infidelity and getting into a violent bаttle with her, during which both were injured.

Since the NFL star is currently in the middle of the season and the Grizzlies point guard is currently working out in preparation for the next NBA season, while being suspended for the first 25 games, neither player has commented on the matter as of yet.
