After the Manchester United player decides on his future at Getafe, Mason Greenwood is “lined up for Champions League transfer.”

At the end of the current campaign, Mason Greenwood from Manchester United is reportedly a target for Sevilla.

However, the forward for Manchester United wants to extend his Getafe loan.

Mason Greenwood has made five appearances for Getafe

After an examination of his behavior off the field, Greenwood, 22, was told by his managers that he could not continue his career at Old Trafford, thus he moved to La Liga last month.

The former England international was anticipating a warm welcome back into the United fold before SunSport made it exclusively known that the team had changed its mind in response to criticism from fans.

He was accused of attempted rape, assault, and coercive control, which led to his arrest in January of last year.

But the Crown Prosecution Service dismissed all charges in February.

At the time, a spokeswoman stated, “We have an obligation to maintain cases under ongoing review.”

“In this instance, there was no longer a realistic chance of conviction due to the withdrawal of important witnesses and newly discovered evidence.

“We have an obligation to halt the proceedings under these conditions. We have given everyone an explanation for our choice.

“We will prosecute wherever our legal test is met, and we will always encourage any potential victims to come forward and report to the police.”

Greenwood, who has so far made five appearances for Getafe, scored his first goal on October 8 against Celta Vigo.

The Mirror claims that Sevilla is planning a move for Greenwood, whose deal with United expires in the summer of 2025.

He is rumored to still be receiving most of his £75,000 weekly salary from the Red Devils.

Sevilla qualified for this season’s Champions League by winning the Europa League the previous year.

Greenwood, nevertheless, hopes to remain at Getafe for the foreseeable future, according to a source who spoke with SunSport, saying: “The players and fans have all given him a welcome he could only have dreamed of.”

He genuinely thought his career was finished. He’s really joyful right now, wanting to keep playing and not look too far ahead.”
