Despite the Lakers’ preseason loss to Damian Lillard and the Bucks, Anthony Davis Continues to Dazzle Fans

Anthony Davis continued to impress the fans with another impressive performance despite the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in the preseason game (108-97).

Even though the 30-year-old power forward only participated in the first half of the game, he held his own against Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has won the award for Most Valuable Player twice. In just 19 minutes of game time, Davis finished with a total of 16 points, 7 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.

He also contributed five assists, a milestone that he had previously accomplished in only eight of the previous year’s games. In addition, Davis scored twice from beyond the three-point line, making Lakers supporters enthusiastic about the player’s increased shooting range.

Antetokounmpo was another standout performer, contributing 16 points and eight rebounds in just 15 minutes of action.

In his first game of the preseason for Milwaukee, Damian Lillard scored 14 points despite showing some signs of rust while shooting 3-10 from the field. In his 22 minutes of playing time, the seven-time All-Star point guard added three assists, three steals, and three rebounds to his stat line.

Taurean Prince, meanwhile, contributed eight points and shot two out of five from three-point range as he fought for a starting position in the front court with Davis and LeBron James. Prince shot two out of five from beyond the arc.

Jaxson Hayes, who was signed by Los Angeles as a free agent, contributed 7 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks in just 17 minutes of game time as he strives to establish himself as a member of the team’s rotation.
