Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku may not be permanently transferred to AS Roma

The possibility of AS Roma giving up on their pursuit of a permanent deal with Romelu Lukaku was reported by Fichajes. The 30-year-old is making an excellent debut for the Italian club, where he is presently on loan. Nonetheless, Roma may not pursue him for their team next summer.

After recovering his career at Inter Milan, Lukaku made a massive transfer back to his boyhood club Chelsea in the summer of 2021. However, he struggled to make an impact with the English team and spent last season on loan back at Inter.

аfter а successful lоаn stint, Inter wаnted tо mаke the deаl permаnent. аfter discоvering, hоwever, thаt he wаs аlsо in tаlks with Juventus, their interest quickly wаned. Neither trаnsfer mаteriаlized, аnd Rоmа wаs аble tо sign him оn lоаn.

The 30-year-old has made an excellent debut for Jose Mourinho’s squad. Seven of his eight goals have come in matches in which he has played. The ex-Inter striker scores once every 87 minutes on average.

His outstanding shows have garnered a lot of notice. There are also teams who would like to sign him permanently. Despite his impressive play for Roma, Chelsea has no plans to keep him. They are prepared to cash in on him and have placed the Belgian striker’s price at €40 million.

Even if Roma would like to sign him permanently, they won’t be allowed to do so if they don’t make the Champions League. And they will have no choice but to seek out alternatives. The Italian giants may have trouble signing him due to budgetary constraints, but they still have possibilities.

Saudi Arabia has expressed interest in hiring him, and the country’s expanding league and high salaries might convince him to relocate there.
