LeBron James Turns Pizza Delivery Hero to Assist Overwhelmed Young Fan

LeBron James, the iconic basketball player and the owner of Blaze Pizza (they don’t call him the King for nothing), recently surprised fans by distributing free slices of the chain’s new 14-inch pizzas on the streets of Cleveland.

In a one-minute video shared on Twitter, LeBron, or shall we say “Ron,” delighted fans by appearing with stacks of pizza boxes. Dressed incognito with a handmade hat, the Lakers player assumed the role of a pizza delivery person, offering whole pizzas and, naturally, taking selfies with people. Everyone was taken aback, except for one person who remained unfazed and simply ignored him.

“Hello, man, what’s up?” “My name is Ron,” he introduced himself before launching into a lengthy speech: “Right now, Blaze is selling large pizzas with real, shareable toppings. Nothing frozen, and no cold toppings.”

Real fans were not buying into Ron’s act because the only thing he was wearing to conceal his identity was a hat. But he remained committed to his role. When a fan expressed gratitude by addressing him as LeBron, he quipped, “I don’t know who LeBron is.” LeBron himself retweeted the video, adding, “What can I say?! Ron is just an ordinary guy. We’re getting a new LARGE BLAZE Pizza.”

A Blaze Pizza representative explained that the 14-inch pizzas are now available for custom orders or as one of Blaze’s classic pizza options, such as Meat Eater, Green Stripe, Veg Out, or BBQ Chicken. One can’t help but wonder what LeBron’s favorite order is.
