Jadon Sancho’s nightmare at Manchester United: being placed on transfer list and forced to train and eat alone himself

Manchester United are preparing to trade winger Jadon Sancho in the upcoming month, therefore the club has separated Sancho from the rest of the team at Carrington, including at meals.

Since his release from United before last month’s Premier League match against Arsenal, the 23-year-old has been out of action. After the game, Erik ten Hag said in an interview that Sancho was benched because of his lackluster performance in training. However, the England international took offense and fired back with a statement on social media a short time later.

Sancho insisted he was being singled out as a “scapegoat” and that his lack of selection was due to “other reasons” beyond his training. Sancho no longer participates in first-team practices after an incident with coach Ten Hag. The Daily Mail reports that the ex-Borussia Dortmund player is isolated from his teammates at the academy, where he is required to work alone.

The story adds that Sancho has taken to locking the door in order to prevent any unwanted interactions between the senior players and the juniors. If Sancho sincerely and completely apologizes to Ten Hag, he will be welcomed back into the United senior fold.

Despite the pleas of United teammates like Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, and Luke Shaw, Sancho has yet to apologize to Ten Hag and shows no indications of backing down. Meanwhile, United officials are reportedly plotting his departure during the upcoming January transfer window, as reported by Mirror Sport.

United pаid Dоrtmund £73 milliоn fоr Sаnchо in 2021, but he hаs nоt lived up tо the hype, scоring just 12 gоаls in 82 gаmes. In оrder tо deаl with his physicаl аnd mentаl heаlth, Ten Hаg gаve Sаnchо аlmоst three mоnths оff lаst seаsоn.

In February, Sancho made his comeback to the field and scored his first goal since rejoining the team in a match against Leeds. However, Sancho was benched before United’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal after starting the season on the bench for all three Premier League games.

Before the Saudi Arabia transfer market closed last month, Al-Ettifaq had expressed interest in signing Sancho on loan. However, negotiations fell through because United demanded £50 million to acquire Sancho at the end of his loan. United’s price tag was too high for Steven Gerrard’s squad.
