The midfield player tried using the outside of his boot to make a no-look reverse pass.

The 18-year-old Mainoo had an ankle injury in July during United’s preseason match against Real Madrid.

The midfielder returned to full first team training earlier this week as he attempts to increase his fitness.

After Man Utd uploaded a video of the young player on social media on Friday, fans are eager for him to make a return.

Many were especially in awe of the difficult achievement he accomplished.

Mainoo received the ball in a limited space and used the outside of his boot to perform a backwards no-look pass.

One fan tweeted, “Mainoo’s pass, I can’t sleep,” in response to other fans’ reactions in the comments section.

“Dude wasn’t injured, I guess he’s been upgrading skills 😂,” another person said.

“I have watched this 10×,” a third person wrote. That sounds like Pogba.

A fourth admirer asked, “How did he accomplish that? Dude! This boy has a unique gift!

Kobbie Mainoo injury update ahead of Manchester United v Sheffield United

Mainoo put in a great practice, but since he is still not fully fit, it is unlikely that he will be named in Erik ten Hag’s squad to play Sheffield United this weekend.

Furthermore, Casemiro’s ankle injury sustained while serving his country overseas will keep him out of the game.

But despite early worries about injuries, rookies Sergio Reguilon, Sofyan Amrabat, and Rasmus Hojlund are all expected to play.
