On the football pitch, Vinicius was forced to deal with another instance of racism. This time, he was at the Sánchez-Pizjuán in Seville when, at one point during the game, someone made the motion of a monkey. As soon as this regrettable incident happened, the club’s security stepped in and escorted him out of the sports arena. All of this is unrelated to the related complaint he will have to deal with.
Vinicius wanted to express his gratitude to the Seville club on social media for their hard work hours after the game, but he also wrote a message requesting that the outstanding debts be settled.
In his comments, the Brazilian expressed sadness that the youngster had “no one to educate you” and made reference to a video that he had seen on social media showing the same discriminatory gesture.
Kudos to Sevilla for their prompt placement and punishment in yet another tragic Spanish football incident.
Regretfully, I was able to view a video of yet another racist incident from this past Saturday’s game, which was committed by a young person. I sincerely apologize that you have no one to teach you. In Brazil, I make significant investments in education to create citizens who think differently than them.
Like so many other things, webpages reflect the face of the modern racist. It is my hope that the Spanish government would take responsibility and permanently amend the law. Penalties for these individuals must also be applied.
It would be an excellent starting point for World Cup preparation in 2030. I’m willing to assist.
I apologize if this sounds redundant, but this is episode 19 of the isolated series. And also tally…
Sevilla declaration
Once the LaLiga Integrity team notified Sevilla of the availability of a video in which a person was observed making racist gestures in the stadium stands, Sevilla already released a statement following the match, detailing what transpired and the protocol that was followed.
Sevilla FC would like to let you know that they have recognized the fan who was exhibiting racist and xenophobic conduct in their stands, kicked him out of the stadium, and reported him to the police officers stationed there. In addition, he will be rigorously subject to the internal disciplinary guidelines and will soon be dismissed from the group.
On the other hand, Sevilla FC stands against any racist or xenophobic behavior, especially when it occurs in isolated cases as it does here. The club also demonstrates its willingness to work with law enforcement to combat these attitudes, which do not reflect the views of Sevilla’s supporters.
