After Mohamed Salah’s outstanding performance in the Merseyside derby, Jurgen Klopp couldn’t help but sing his praises. The Liverpool coach admitted that Mohamed Salah’s stats are one of his favorite things about the Egyptian forward.

Salah scored both of Liverpool’s goals in the second half as they defeated Everton 2-0 at Anfield. In addition to scoring the winning goal, he also notched his 200th career league goal.

As quoted by Liverpoolfc.com, Klopp added, “Look, what I love most about Mo is… well, maybe largely I love the stats! But I believe Mo Salah had an extraordinary number of outstanding performances for us.

“Today was not his best game but then [still] being that clinical with the penalty and then staying in the situation, that’s probably his biggest quality, and I love that.”

Again, he proved to be the type of player who can get the ball across the goal line. That is a fact that I greatly admire. The results are really astounding. It’s in his character to keep going, which works out great for us.

In 11 games in all competitions, Mohamed Salah scored 8 goals and dished out 4 assists.
