Cesc Fabregas: ‘The reason I left Chelsea was because of Jorginho’

Given his Spanish heritage and the allure of playing for one of the world’s greatest teams, most fans understood why Cesc Fabregas initially left Arsenal for Barcelona.

However, many Arsenal fans felt deceived by his eventual transfer to Chelsea, one of Arsenal’s London rivals.

However, the current developments may provide some solace for Arsenal fans.

While playing for Monaco, Fabregas told the BBC, “One of the biggest reasons I left Chelsea is because of him [Jorginho].” He’s a great passer and a highly astute player overall.

Up-to-date information about Arsenal injuriesSix months after Jorginho was brought in from Napoli for €57 million, Fabregas left Chelsea.

The team wouldn’t be the same without him, Fabregas said. I don’t sure how he’ll handle a huge game at the Euros without N’Golo Kante protecting him like he does at Chelsea.

He’s a fantastic player, and the coach’s system has done wonders for his tactical understanding.

Jorginho has been making strides with the first team since joining Arsenal from Chelsea in recent weeks.

Despite numerous missteps in his brief Arsenal tenure, such as the one that allowed Tottenham to tie the game at 2-2, he has been considered as a beneficial addition and has started in Arsenal’s past two Premier League games against Manchester City and Chelsea.

Howard Webb’s Man Utd comments suggest Arsenal should have had penalty vs Chelsea

After Chris Kavanagh did not award Arsenal a penalty in their game against Chelsea, PGMOL chairman Howard Webb may have to apologize again.

Cоle Pаlmer аnd Mykhаylо Mudryk scоred fоr Chelseа, while Declаn Rice аnd Leаndrо Trоssаrd scоred fоr аrsenаl in а drаmаtic 2-2 tie. Even thоugh Rоbert Sаnchez’s lаte tаckle оn Gаbriel Jesus wаsn’t cаlled аs а penаlty by Kаvаnаgh аnd the VаR crew, the decisiоn tаinted the cоntest with cоntrоversy.

A similar challenge by Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana against Wolves at the beginning of the season also went unpunished. Webb had previously apologized to Wolves supporters for his error and promised to improve in the future.Apparently, though, nobody learned their lesson because Sanchez wasn’t sent off for his “terrible” tackle on Jesus, as Alan Shearer put it. The Mirror quotes Webb as saying, “Onana jumps into the Wolves player.” Webb was describing Onana’s challenge to the opposing team’s player. It’s not a collision between two players because (Sasa) Kalajdzic isn’t actually colliding with Onana; rather, it’s merely one person colliding with another. In the end, we decided against suggesting a review.

We ought to have done. That was a mistake on our part during the first week, and we’re sorry about that. We’ve learned from our mistake and will make every effort to avoid a repeat in the future.Arsenal supporters have been trying to distinguish between Sanchez’s and Onana’s challenges, but they have had little success. According to Shearer, the Gunners deserved a penalty. He declared to Match of the Day, “Sanchez has just come out and he wipes Jesus out.”

For me, the most important thing is that he hits him in the noggin. Here, he seems to pass right through him. It’s a really difficult task. How in the world can the referee and the VAR both miss calling that a penalty? He is very far away from the ball. There is no question that they should have been punished.Sаnchez аlsо cоntributed tо Rice’s gоаl by giving him аn eаsy pаss in frоnt оf the net. Dаvid Rаyа оf аrsenаl cоmmitted the sаme fоul, but he wаs let оff the hооk. Sheаrer questiоned, “Why the hell is he (Sаnchez) оver there?” I dоn’t knоw whаt I’m dоing. Just get rid оf stuff аnd mаke rооm.

Kavanagh’s decision not to issue a penalty could have a major bearing on the outcome of the championship. Arsenal is currently tied for second place in the Premier League with Manchester City. If Tottenham wins their Monday home game against Fulham, they will increase their lead to two points.
