The dispute between Real Madrid and Sevilla, in which the game resulted in a point distribution, is still very much alive. Furthermore, the white team is furious with De Burgos Bengoetxea for a number of incidents in which Ancelotti’s players feel they were gravely injured.

Vinicius, protesting De Burgos on the way to the locker room...

Apart from the fact that a goal was disallowed due to offside and that Madrid’s counterattack was stopped, De Burgos Bengoetxea also failed to award a penalty in a play involving Vinicius and Jesús Navas. The Brazilian repeatedly objected to this conduct and was very forceful in his requests with the referee.

Currently, you can see how Vinicius approaches De Burgos Bengoetxea to continue protesting against a party action in certain pictures that “Dazn” has aired on its program “Super8.” The referee turns and reacts to the Madrid player as he walks with Rakitic toward the locker room tunnel. He acknowledges his failure.

“That I was wrong, well, yes, Vini, I have told you,” the Sevilla vs. Real Madrid referee replies to the Brazilian attacker for the white team’s grievances. Everything points to the counterplay, which is the one instance in which he can be positive that he erred because, rationally, he had not seen pictures of the penalty.

Real Madrid was furious with the refereeing against Sevilla because they felt that the outcome would have been different if De Burgos Bengoetxea hadn’t made mistakes. The white club told MARCA, “We have never experienced anything like this.”
