Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez posted “Trust the process” on social media in support of manager Mauricio Pochettino before Saturday’s game against Brentford.

After a disappointing 2-2 draw with Arsenal in their previous match, the Blues welcome their west London rivals to Stamford Bridge. The Gunners came back from a 2-0 deficit thanks to some defensive miscues, and they ended up drawing the derby. While we did suffer a setback, there was still considerable hope for the future.

The brief remark was a vote of confidence in Mauricio Pochettino’s management of a talented but inexperienced Chelsea team that cost a lot of money to assemble. After the draw with Arsenal, Pochettino had asked for patience as he attempts to shape his remade squad.

“We are still a really young team and we know each other, and still not all of the squad are ready to compete for their place.”

Fernandez offered a rousing message to his squad and supporters by supporting Pochettino’s plea for faith in the continuing reconstruction at Stamford Bridge. Hopefully, more people will be inspired by his zeal and continue working hard.

Fernandez’s tenacity in winning the ball and his ability to pass the ball have made him an immediate asset for Pochettino in the middle of the field. The 23-year-old World Cup hero has confidence in his coach to make Chelsea a contender once again.

Pochettino emphasized that despite conceding points against Arsenal, the Blues are still on an upward trajectory after their previous three wins in a row.
