2 Suns players are ruled out of the matchup with the Lakers

The Phoenix Suns made a number of roster adjustments to start the 2023–24 NBA season with high expectations.

They wаnted a better start to the season, which is why they added Bradley Beal to team up with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, and named Frank Vogel as Monty Williams’ replacement.

But there was a snag in the schedule when they played the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Bradley Beal had a back ιnjury that prevented him from playing. In his absence, Phoenix defeated Stephen Curry and the Warriors at home to secure a victory.

The Suns will face a different kind of challenge when they play the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena on Thursday. Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, two key players in the Suns’ lineup, will not be playing. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Beal is still battling a back ιnjury, and Booker is struggling with a foot issue.

It was expected that Beal would make his Suns debut against the Lakers, so this news is unexpecteԀ. In addition, Booker had just finished off a tremendous effort against the Warriors in the Bay Area, scoring an astounding 32 points in the game.

While the absence of these important players poses a challenge for Phoenix’s recently formed Big 3, particularly when they play their former coach Vogel in his first official game after splitting up, it also gives the Lakers a better chance to recover from their opening-round loss to the Denver Nuggets.
