Following the historic match between the two superstars, LeBron James spends a special moment with Kevin Durant’s mother.

Even though the Los Angeles Lakers won, LeBron James and Kevin Durant gave a fantastic performance to the crowd at Crypto.com Arena on Thursday night. The King then demonstrated that he was more than just a basketball player.

Following the Lakers’ 100-95 victory over the Phoenix Suns, which marked their first victory of the new season, James was spotted sharing a touching moment with Wanda Durant.

It’s LeBron James’ second such encounter this early in the NBA season, and even at 38 years old, he seems to be enjoying the camaraderie throughout the league.

On Thursday night, James and Durant were both outstanding, but in the fourth quarter, James performed better. Playing the whole fourth quarter, James scored 10 of his 21 points, including a game-winning basket with 1:11 remaining. Despite trailing by 12 points going into the last quarter, the Lakers put on an incredible comeback to beat the Suns and secure their first victory.

James was later compared by Durant to “someone you just compare yourself to.” You’re doing fairly well for yourself if you could pull off some of the things he’s done. It serves as merely a starting point for you, as a player, to gauge your potential.

With a game total of 39 points and 11 rebounds, Durant was outstanding in his own right, leading a squad that was without Bradley Beal and Devin Booker on Thursday in Los Angeles.

It was great to see Durant and James reunited on the court after they hadn’t played on an NBA court since Christmas 2018 due to a variety of conditions, including injuries, load management, and the league’s health and safety protocols.

The Lakers prevailed, but it was a win for the league as a whole to see two players who had been buddies since they were 17 years old dominate for another 20 years.
