The end of the first half, Real Madrid regretted letting Barcelona lead 1 – 0

Gundogan Brings Barcelona to a 1-0 Win over Real Madrid in the First Half

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia — Barcelona managed to take a 1-0 lead over Real Madrid in the first round of the Spanish League El Clasico at the Olimpic Lluis Companys Stadium, Saturday (28/10).

The duel between the Spanish giants was fierce in the first half. Barcelona managed to take the lead quickly through Ilkay Gundogan’s action when the match was only six minutes old.

David Alaba’s blunder in the penalty box was a disаster. Alaba’s attempt to sweep the ball failed perfectly so Gundogan was able to grab it.

The German midfielder coolly released the ball from close range to the right side of the goal which Kepa Arrizabalaga was unable to anticipate.

Madrid was also able to provide resistance. Several opportunities were created but no goals were scored. Barcelona’s lead lasted until the halftime break.
