Steph Curry Juked Dillon Brooks Out of His Shoes So Badly That Even Steph Was Impressed
In this story:
Stephen Curry instilled Dillon Brooks with Halloween dread a few days prior to Sunday’s matchup between the Warriors and Rockets.
Curry led the Warriors to a 12–2 victory in the fourth quarter by draining four consecutive three-pointers to seal the deal.
Prior to Curry’s frenzy, Golden State held an 88–87 lead with five minutes remaining. After executing four Curry three-pointers and two minutes, the score was 100-89, and the Warriors could enter cruise control.
Curry hit his fourth of the stretch, which was the most outrageous of his threes. Curry, who was evidently already firing at a high rate of speed, executed a vicious crossover that impeded the progress of defender Dillon Brooks. Curry once more deceived Brooks into attempting to recoup by delaying his shot until Brooks had already cleared the air.
Fans went wild over Curry’s move, especially because it came against one of the NBA’s defensive villains.
With the 106–95 win, Curry and the Warriors moved to 2–1 on the season. They will be in action again on Monday night facing the Pelicans.
