Major changes are coming to Arsenal and Manchester United’s kits for the upcoming season as Adidas updates their famous emblem

In the 2024/25 season, a new logo will be featured on the third jerseys.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United will be affected by this shift.

The trefoil insignia of the German manufacturer will appear on alternate uniforms beginning in 2019.

Adidas initially utilised the logo during the 1970s and 1980s, with the alteration made as part of a move to resuscitate their past.

Clubs will continue to have Adidas’ present emblem on their home and away uniforms, though.Arsenal now wear a turquoise green strip with navy blue trim from Adidas for their third uniform.

United’s alternate white shirt, however, contains red details like the team’s symbol and the Adidas wordmark.

Adidas also makes uniforms for Nottingham Forest and Fulham.

The move will affect a number of European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Real Madrid. And so is Newcastle, who in September announced a multi-year arrangement with Adidas as the club’s kit supplier.

The agreement was first reported in an Amazon Prime documentary on the club before it was officially confirmed.

After supplying Newcastle’s uniforms from 1995 to 2010, Adidas will now take up that role.

After a snag in the summer, Wan-Bissaka’s contract with United expires in the following June.

The 25-year-old is hoping to return to full health before a decision is made about his future with the Manchester giants.

Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial are also free to negotiate with foreign teams in January since their contracts end in June. And at this time, it is unknown if United will extend the contracts of either Lindelof or Martial.

Wan-Bissaka is competing with Diogo Dalot for a spot in Erik ten Hag’s starting lineup at right back.

While Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have recently returned to full health at centre defence, injuries have given Lindelof greater playing time this season.

Rasmus Hojlund, a striker, was brought in from Atalanta for £72 million last summer, pushing Martial down the pecking order.Ten Hag, though, is not looking as far as January following a rocky start to the campaign.

United’s five wins from 10 games have put them in seventh place in the Premier League.

Last season’s Carabao Cup champions had also lost the other half while coming up short in their first two Champions League matches as well until ultimately overcoming Copenhagen last week.
