This is LeBron’s 81st 30+ points since he turned 35 or around the last three years. LeBron made 13/19 shots (68 percent), including 4/8 three-pointers.

Even though he failed to win the game, Russell made a big contribution with 27 points. Anthony Davis also had 27 points and completed it with a double-double with 10 rebounds plus 4 blocks. Austin Reaves had 15 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, while Christian Wood double-doubled 10 points and 11 rebounds from the bench, including a putback dunk that sealed the Lakers’ victory. The Lakers played with only a rotation of eight players due to the number of injured players.

At the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard was the game’s top scorer with 38 points and 6 rebounds. Paul George trailed with 35 points and 6 rebounds. Russell Westbrook double-doubled 24 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, while Norman Powell had 12 points from the bench. P.J. Tucker, who was traded two days ago, was able to play today. He appeared 20 minutes from the bench. James Harden has appeared but has not played in this game.

This was the Lakers’ first win over the Clippers in the last 12 meetings. The Lakers last won on July 30 2020. Both teams will be the visiting teams in the next match.
