Kevin Durant’s Living Legend Mansion: A $5.99 million Oakland Hills estate

Perched atop the Oakland Hills, this unmistakably beautiful home was formerly owned by basketball legend Kevin Durant, who played for the Golden State Warriors in their later years when they were struggling.

The house he had been renting out is currently being offered off-market for $5,998,888.

With seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a spacious 9,084 square feet, 4614–4616 Rockingham Court is most definitely a mansion (generally, any property measuring 10,000 square feet or more is considered the average maniker, but who’s counting?). Floor-to-ceiling windows, an in-home theater, a curved staircase leading to the top and lower levels, a circular driveway, and, of course, a private half court are all elements of this expansive home.

The entrance glass doors are very lovely, reminiscent of those at Lisa Vanderpump’s Villa Rosa in Beverly Hills (without the flora and pink overflow), and the backyard is rather lavish, featuring both a concrete patio and a lush green lawn. The entrance doors bear similarities to those of Lisa Vanderpump’s Beverly Hills villa, Villa Rosa.

Michael Burgess designed both of the individual apartments on the property, which was built in 2005. You can watch a video here of Keŋin Durant giving you a behind-the-scenes tour of the house.
