During Monday’s game, Giannis Antetokounmpo climbed atop the NBA’s all-time scoring chart.

The Milwaukee Bucks are in New York on Monday evening to play the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.

Giannis Antetokounmpo made NBA history by rising up the all-time scoring chart throughout the game.

Antetokounmpo started the night with 16,400 points and has already surpassed Joe Dumars (16,402) and Jerry Stackhouse (16,409) for 106th place on the list.

Nate Archibald (16,481) will be Antetokounmpo’s next target.

Antetokounmpo is only 28 years old, yet he has already established himself as one of the greatest 50 players of all time.

He entered the game averaging 24.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 53.8% from the field and 40.0% from three.

The seven-time NBA All-Star is in his 11th season (all with the Bucks) and has career averages of 22.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game in 724 regular season games while shooting 53.7% from the floor.

Furthermore, Antetokounmpo has appeared in 79 NBA playoff games and has guided the Bucks to the postseason for seven consecutive years (they won the NBA Championship over the Phoenix Suns in 2021).

The Bucks entered Monday’s game with a 3-2 record in their first five games, most recently defeating the New York Knicks 110-105 (at home) on Friday night.
