On November 1, 2017, Anthony and Marlen joyfully welcomed their daughter Nala into the world. Over the years, Nala has made endearing appearances alongside her father, notably displaying patience as she sat on his lap during a post-game interview in May 2021.

 

Nala also had a special role as her father’s date at the Los Angeles premiere of Space Jam: A New Legacy at the Regal LA Live & 4DX theater in July 2021. Gracing the purple carpet, she clutched a stuffed Bugs Bunny, capturing hearts alongside her dad, who lent his voice to the character known as The Brow in the animated film.

 

While basketball remains Anthony’s primary focus, his connection with LeBron James opened an unexpected door to Hollywood. Reflecting on this opportunity, Anthony shared with Haute Living in 2019, “I hadn’t really thought about [doing anything Hollywood-related]; basketball is my focus. Obviously [though], me and LeBron are very close, and he asked if I wanted to be in a movie with him. I felt like it was a cool opportunity for me, being that Space Jam is one of my favorite movies, so I jumped on board.”

 

In addition to Nala, Anthony and Marlen share two sons, whose names and birthdates remain undisclosed. Confirming the impending arrival of their third child in June 2021, Anthony disclosed that the son arrived just ahead of their September wedding. The newest addition made a public appearance, cradled in his father’s arms and donning a jersey at the Crypto.com arena during a game in March 2023.

 

The family expanded once again in the summer of 2022, a joyous revelation Anthony shared during a Spectrum News interview in September 2022. Grinning, Anthony expressed his favorite part of the summer, saying, “Adding another to the family.” He happily confirmed the new addition was a “little boy.”

With a daughter and two sons, Anthony acknowledged the shift in dynamics, humorously noting, “I’m outnumbered now, we’re outnumbered now. Amazing, blessed kids are a blessing, so I’m happy to have three of them.”
