Giannis Antetokounmpo, the two-time MVP, was removed during the second half after receiving his second technical foul of the game.
In 22 minutes of action, Antetokounmpo finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks while shooting 6/16 from the field.
In six games, Antetokounmpo averaged 26.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 54.3% from the field.
The Bucks are the third seed in the Eastern Conference after going 4-2 in their first six games.
They most recently defeated the Brooklyn Nets 129-125, with Antetokounmpo scoring 36 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks while shooting 15/27 from the field in 35 minutes of action.
Following their game against the Pistons, the Bucks will play the Indiana Pacers on Thursday evening in Indianapolis.
Antetokounmpo is in his 11th NBA season (all with the Bucks) and is coming off a successful season. He averaged 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game while shooting 55.3% from the field last season.
With a 58-24 record, the Bucks were the first seed in the Eastern Conference and made the NBA playoffs for the sixth consecutive season.
However, they were defeated in the first round (in five games) by the Miami Heat.
