Two Manchester United players ‘prove’ Erik ten Hag hasn’t lost the dressing room by favoriting tweets he wrote

Ten Hag’s coaching career has been humbling this season, as his team lost 4-3 in Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday, making it 9 losses in 17 games.

According to reports, the club is considering replacing the Dutchman with either Ruben Amorim of Sporting or Real Madrid icon Zinedine Zidane due to the team’s poor performance.

Paradoxically however, Ten Hag’s side did achieve a much-needed 1-0 win over Luton before the international break, meaning they have now gathered 12 points from their past five Premier League games extending back to October 7.

Their 3-0 loss to cross-town rivals Manchester City on October 29 was their sole Premier League setback during that span.

Amid the rise in domestic results, United stars Alejandro Garnacho and Luke Shaw have both liked tweets in favor of Ten Hag.

Shaw, who signed with United in 2014, liked a tweet by JZthekid on Saturday that implied United’s lack of firepower is not the manager’s fault.

One such Tweet said, “Players can’t finish but it’s obviously Ten Hag’s fault right?” Manchester United supporters are the worst.

It now appears that Shaw has “unliked” the post.

A thread on X arguing that Ten Hag needs time at Old Trafford was liked by United rookie Alejandro Garnacho.

In the wake of their Champions League loss to Copenhagen, EBL2017 began a lengthy Twitter thread with the following: “I ask for patience with Erik ten Hag.

Last night was the *BEST* tactical performance by Manchester United all season. Don’t assume anything since there are only 10 left of the original 20.

“TҺey were ιncreԀιble wιtҺ 11 men, аnԀ ιt wаs аLL Erιk ten Һаg’s Ԁоιng!”
