Rihanna is making a place for her growing family. The singer, who is expecting her second child, recently traded up her longtime Century City home for a sprawling $21 million penthouse in the same famous celebrity building.
According to Dirt, the mogul has apparently relocated instantly from her three-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot apartment at the Century to a 9,290-square-foot residence in the sky.
According to rumors, the pop diva purchased the pad from Afterpay cofounder and merchant Nick Molnar. Molnar listed the condo for $28 million after owning it for nearly two years. However, he only paid $21.6 million for the apartment from actor Matthew Perry.
Floor to ceiling windows that provide panoramic views of the city surround the circular house. Highlights include four outside patios, a large living space, and a modern kitchen.
The 42-story building is known for being a “paparazzi-proof” hideaway for California’s wealthy and famous, with 24-hour concierge service, a fitness center, and a 75-foot swimming pool.
The building has housed Paula Abdul and Terry Dubrow, as well as Denzel Washington and Nobu Matsuhisa. Candy Spelling actually owns a large two-story penthouse just above Rihanna’s new home.
