The Selecao has already guaranteed its spot in the competition in Germany next summer after winning all eight of their qualifying matches thus far, scoring 32 goals and giving up only two. Ronaldo, 38, has been setting an exemplary example and expressed his happiness upon joining Roberto Martinez’s Portugal team.”Sentimento de alegria sempre que regresso à nossa seleção! 🇵🇹❤️ #vesteabandeira (Feeling of joy every time I return to our team! 🇵🇹❤️)” was the caption that the forward put on Instagram after he had a training session. When he plays in the next twо matches, the Al-Nassr fоrward, whо has scоred nine gоals in seven games sо far in the qualificatiоn campaign, will be anxiоus tо add mоre gоals tо his recоrd оf 127 internatiоnal gоals. At Rheinpark Stadion on Thursday night, Ronaldo will play Liechtenstein. UEFA ‘considering inviting’ Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr to Champions League next season

Ronaldo scored his 13th goal of the Saudi Pro League season last week as Al Nassr defeated Al Wehda 3-1 to get within four points of Al Hilal, who are now atop the standings.

Even though the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been on fire this season, his performances have not been in front of a sizable audience of fans from Europe.

But that might not last for very long. Saudi blogger AlHarbi44 on X, formerly Twitter, claims that UEFA is thinking of bringing Al Nassr to the Champions League in 2024–2025.

The journalist cites Al Nassr’s “great popularity” among European supporters and their status as one of the “three most famous clubs in the world” as the explanation for this.

In fact, Ronaldo is undoubtedly the greatest player in Champions League history, and he would be happy to see Al Nassr participate in the match. The Portugal international has appeared in more competitions and scored more goals (140) than any other player in the competition. He was the first player to win the Champions League five times.

That is but a small sample of Ronaldo’s accomplishments in the top European tournament.

Ronaldo, who has been voted the Champions League’s top scorer seven times, is the only player to have scored in 11 straight Champions League games. He has also scored 67 goals in the tournament’s knockout rounds and in three finals.

The Champions League group stage will not return for the next season; instead, 36 teams will compete in a single, large league table.

The final table’s top eight seeds advance straight to the round of 16, while positions nine through twenty-four proceed to a playoff to determine the remaining eight spots. In Europe, positions 25 through 36 are removed.
