The unique gift given to Marcus Rashford by a former Manchester United teammate is something he believes ‘NO ONE can touch’

Marcus Rashford has said that nobody else can use a gift he received from his ex-Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rashford and Ronaldo played together for a year at Old Trafford in 2021 and 2022 until the latter left the club due to a falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.

Even though Ronaldo is no longer in Rashford’s life, the Englishman still holds the Portuguese star in high regard.

Ronaldo handed Rashford a pair of Nike Air Max 97 CR7 Red trainers worth £145 in 2018, before he returned to United for a second stint, prompting the United striker to write “Thanks for the gift @cristiano” on Instagram.

аfter five yeаrs, he аdmits thаt he hаs never brоken in the sneаkers аnd wоn’t let аnyоne tоuch them fоr feаr оf dаmаging them.

They’re invincible! During an episode of Sneaker Shopping, Rashford revealed as much to broadcaster Joe La Puma.

Ronaldo was always one of my favorite players when I was a kid. That’s why it’s best if I keep them at bay.

Rashford’s refusal to wear the sneakers shows how important they are to him. He’s amassed an impressive shoe collection over the years and is now considered a style icon.

England teammate Jude Bellingham, also 26 years old, was on the cover of Vogue before and attended Paris Fashion Week with him this year.

After a slow start to the season at United, where he has scored just once, his attention is now squarely on football and getting back to his best.

He is due to join up with the England squad later this week for their Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia, however it has been stated that his arrival has been delayed as he deals with a personal situation.
