Andy Robertson announced good news for Liverpool

Since joining Anfield from Hull in 2017, Andy Robertson has always been an indispensable factor in Liverpool’s squad. With his fierce and speedy playing style, Robertson is exactly what coach Jurgen Klopp wants from his team.

But because he always plays hard on the field, combined with age, injuries have become more and more common for Robertson. Last month, Robertson suffered a serious shoulder injury after a collision with goalkeeper Unai Simon in Scotland’s loss to Spain.

Robertson was forced to leave the field immediately. Liverpool doctors required Robertson to undergo surgery. Everything went quite smoothly and it is expected that Robertson will have to be away from the field for about 3 months.

Thus, Robertson will certainly be absent from Liverpool’s consecutive big matches against Man City, Arsenal and MU in the near future. However, Robertson still reassured fans by saying: “Yes, I’m recovering slowly, slowly but surely. The surgery was successful, that’s the most important thing, I don’t have any complaints. It’s time.” At this point, everything is fine.”

“I think I’ve been through 3 weeks since the surgery, everything is going well. I have to be patient step by step, day by day, month by month. Everything is going in the right direction and hopefully I have can return to the field soon,” Robertson concluded.
