On Monday afternoon, former England international and Chelsea club great John Terry was seen playing a round of golf with friends at the famous Loch Lomond Golf Club.

The current Aston Villa assistant manager and his friends chartered a private plane to Scotland so they could play 36 holes of golf at a world-class course.

Terry, who is 40 years old, had a great time on the trip with five of his closest friends, and he posted photos from the trip to Instagram.

While enjoying his favorite activity outside of football, the former central defender shared several breathtaking shots of the picturesque Loch Lomond Golf Club.

Curiously, Terry plays golf with his left hand, even though he is a right-footed player. Nevertheless, as demonstrated in the video below, he still has a ways to go before his swing can compete with that of Phil Mickelson and Robert MacIntyre.

Terry is famous for his passion for golf and his five titles in England’s Premier League. Among his one-acre yard is a miniature astroturf putting green on one of his residences.

After helping Aston Villa reach 11th place in the Premier League last year, Terry is getting ready for another year in the role of assistant coach. He just earned his UEFA Pro Licence badge.

The future of Terry, after his tenure at Aston Villa, is a topic of ongoing speculation.

He informed the Times, “My ambition is very, very clear.” the day before. “Managing Chelsea Football Club is my ultimate objective. Because we are forthright, well-organized, well-drilled, and well-prepared, and because we have a solid back four, I believe my team will win.
