Good news: After ‘visa accepted,’ Chelsea moved closer to welcoming Kendry Paez

After having his visa to travel to the UK approved, Chelsea may soon be able to welcome Kendry Paez to Cobham for the first time.

Since making a nаme for himself at Independiente del Valle earlier this year, the 16-year-old Ecuadorian sensation has shone a light on South American football. With an agreement in place from the summer, Chelsea can relax and enjoy Paez’s rising star status knowing that he has already signed with the Blues.

This Thursday, Independiente’s sports manager Roberto Arroyo revealed that his paperwork has been accepted, bringing his arrival one step closer.

With the news that Kendry Paez’s visa had been approved, he spoke to the Ecuadorian news outlet Machdeportes.

“Now we have to wait for Chelsea’s plan for him to travel.”

The Premier League club can’t sign Paez until he is 18, which means he won’t be able to travel to England until the 2025–26 season begins.

A visit to Cobham is in the cards for the forward once the Ecuadorian season concludes next month.

Paez has already scored on his country’s international debut at the age of sixteen, making him the second-youngest South American to play for his country’s national team, behind only Diego Maradona.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in 15-year-old American prоspect Julian Hall as part of their plan to continue recruiting the world’s finest adolescent players, as revealed last month by Standard Sport.

“It would be a dream to see them play professionally at Chelsea”- Thiago Silva on his two sons

After enrolling his children in the Blues’ youth system, Thiago Silva expressed his desire to see them play for Chelsea one day.

Since making his Chelsea debut against Newcastle United, when he became the club’s oldest player, Mauricio Pochettino has kept Silva in the starting lineup.

Knowing that Silva was in his late 30s when he signed with the Blues in 2020 was enough to cause some eyebrows to raise. However, he quickly won over the club’s supporters and led them to a Champions League victory the next year.In the future, Thiago Silva hopes that his children will play for Chelsea. But at 39 years old and turning 40 next year, his tenure with the club is winding down.

We don’t yet know whether he will play another season, although his contract is up for renewal in a year. Nonetheless, the Brazilian center defender has developed a fondness for Chelsea and dreams of watching his children play for the club after he retires. His remarks on the Chelsea website were as follows:

I must admit that I’ve always had a great deal of support from the teams and supporters wherever I’ve gone. However, this time around, it’s different because my kids are also playing on the squad. Seeing them play professionally for Chelsea is something I can only dream about. In the end, I try to assist them as much as I can since I enjoy watching them.As of today, Thiago Silva is the oldest active player for Chelsea. Because he has been our best player since he joined, Silva has become a legend here, and it will be sad to see him leave.Even though they have a ways to go, Silva will be rooting for his children, who are now participating in Chelsea’s youth program, to leave an indelible mark at the club, just as he did.
