In a 4-1 victory over Al-Riyadh, the 38-year-old headed in a cross from Sadio Mane and subsequently set up teammate Otavio.

Ronaldo acknowledged his supporters and said he was “not done yet” after thanking them all for helping him reach the milestone.

With 16 goals in 15 games this season, the Portuguese attacker leads the Saudi Pro League in scoring.

With 1,387 outings, former England goalie Peter Shilton is recognized as the man with the most competitive professional appearances in men’s basketball history.

Ronaldo surpassed the milestone, which the Saudi Pro League verified on social media. The player then shared on Instagram, writing, “Three more points! I’m appreciative of all of my teammates for helping me complete my 1,200th match. We’re not quite done yet; what a ride.”

In February 2020, Ronaldo celebrated his 1,000th senior appearance by scoring for Juventus in Serie A.

When he played for Portugal against Iceland in June, he became the first male player to reach 200 international appearances. With 128 goals, he leads all international goal scorers.

Ronaldo leads the club career appearance charts for the most Champions League appearances (183), having played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.

In December 2021, when he was playing for Manchester United, he exceeded that number and became the first player in history to score 800 goals in a top-tier career. Since then, he has exceeded the 850-goal threshold.

Al-Nassr is still seven points behind leader Al-Hilal in the table.
