Warren-Zaïre-Emery, 17, suffered an ankle strain on his France debut on November 18. As a result, Paris Saint-Germain said that he would not play again in 2023. Nevertheless, the academy product recovered fast and might even be included in the team for Saturday’s match against FC Nantes.
According to PSG, Zaïre-Emery’s right ankle suffered a “moderately bad sprain,” which would keep him out until the Christmas break. It appears, though, that the prognosis was a touch too negative. Fabrice Hawkins, a writer for RMC Sport, claims that the France international might be included in the squad to play Nantes on Saturday night.
Since Wednesday, Zaïre-Emery has participated in practically all of Les Parisiens’ training sessions, which means he could make a comeback this weekend. Although Zaïre-Emery might not play against Les Canaris, there is now more hope that he will participate on Wednesday against Borussia Dortmund. He is not likely to start against the Bundesliga team, though.
