The Italy international has interest from other Serie A clubs as well, including Roma, Inter Milan, and Juventus.Jose Mourinho, manager of Roma and a former boss of Chelsea, openly praised Buongiorno following their September tie with Torino.
The defender has been in fine form for Torino this season, appearing in 14 games across all competitions and netting two goals. The Italian league club is determined to demand a cost of £35 million, having turned down a bid of £21.5 million from another Serie A club.
Since Buongiorno’s current deal is valid until 2028, the club has plenty of time to negotiate a larger transfer fee.
