Mbappe’s goal didn’t help PSG defeat Lille

PSG traveled to Lille for their away game in the 16th round of the French Ligue 1. Arnau Tenas took over in PSG’s goal as a result of Donnarumma’s disqualification, and Kylian Mbappe’s 16-year-old brother Ethan Mbappe was added to the Paris team.

The visitors had a slight advantage in the first half, but the score did not change. Vitinha’s attempt was stopped by the goalkeeper in the 36th minute, which was PSG’s only attempt on goal.

PSG defended resolutely near their goal in the second half, and Kylian Mbappe scored from a penalty kick in the 66th minute to record his 16th goal of the current Ligue 1 season. The hosts equalized and stole a draw right before it appeared that PSG would win the match by the narrowest of margins. Ten minutes after replacing him, in the 90+4th minute, Jonathan David’s accurate strike leveled the score.
