A touching moment for the great Bucks also marked a new low for Detroit.
Losing it is one thing. Losing 23 straight games, as the Pistons did at Fiserv Forum on Saturday, is a different story.
It is a another matter entirely to lose a game for the twenty-third time in a row when the star player of the other side is lingering with his kids on the bench.
That’s exactly what happened as the Bucks destroyed Detroit 146-114. Giannis Antetokounmpo of Milwaukee led the Bucks to their 18th victory with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists.
With his boys Maverick and Liam sitting on the bench, he then sat and watched the Bucks finish off the victory.
It was just another enjoyable day at work for Antetokoumpo, who is averaging a career-high 32 points per game this season after scoring 64 against the Pacers on Wednesday.
For the Pistons, who are currently in danger of breaking the 2015–16 76ers’ record for the longest losing streak in NBA history, it was just another dreadful evening in the midst of an unending slump.
