Chelsea will not allow winger Noni Madueke to go on loan in January, even though Mauricio Pochettino plans to shuffle his team that month.
It has been claimed that winger Noni Madueke will not be allowed to leave the club on loan in January by Chelsea.
There has been talk that the 21-year-old winger, who cost £25 million from PSV a year ago, may be leaving temporarily due to his lack of playing time.
He has had some small fitness problems this season and has missed Chelsea’s last three league matches due to ιnjury. The player is an England Under-21 international.
According to the Athletic, however, the 21-year-old and other proven first-team squad members are not being sanctioned by Stamford Bridge for that.
Mauricio Pochettino thinks that Chelsea, who are now in 10th place in the league and have failed to qualify for the Champions League, will require additional transfer window surgery in January to get themselves back on track.
Chelsea have spent more than £1 billiоn in the past three transfer windows. However, Pochettino wants to bring in players from his own team to help revive Stamford Bridge, and many of those transfers happened before he arrived in the summer.
In an effort to prevent a recurrence of the problems that led to Graham Potter’s dismissal, Chelsea is allegedly planning a one-in-one-out transfer strategy for January.
During the winter transfer window at the beginning of this season, under Potter’s leadership, Chelsea acquired six players, all of whom were immediately promoted to the first team.
The only player to leave the first team group—Jorginho—was sent to Arsenal. This caused the squad to balloon to an unmanageable size, and Potter had a field day managing it. Not only that, but big names were routinely left off matchday rosters, and there were rumors that players had to change in the hallways at the training ground because nothing fit.
Chelsea will be stepping up their transfer strategy to address the’many difficulties’ and keep Pochettino from experiencing the same fate.
