Constructed in the 1930s, the home belonged to the estate of Lee Phillip Bell, who passed away earlier this year. Bell was most recognized for her work co-creating The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful with her late husband, William. Former owners of the property included actor Charles Boyer and Howard Hughes, who leased the mansion to Katharine Hepburn, his former flame.

In addition to a tennis court and movie theater, the property has two guesthouses, seven bathrooms, and four bedrooms. With views of the Pacific Ocean and Beverly Hills, it is situated on 2.5 acres. James is probably going to demolish the house and construct a new, bigger mansion.

In Los Angeles, now is a favorable moment to be a seller. Zillow reports that the median home value increased by 7.4% over the previous year. In the upcoming year, the firm projects an extra 5.9% increase.
