Greatness is acknowledged by Giannis Antetokounmpo.

After completing his training with NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon in advance of the 2023–2024 NBA season, the Milwaukee Bucks player praised Olajuwon on X, the site that was formerly known as Twitter.

In Houston, Antetokounmpo was spotted working out alongside Olajuwon, who has previously acknowledged Antetokounmpo’s skill. To put it mildly, the post seems to indicate that the training session went well.

The statement also follows Gilbert Arenas’ criticism of Olajuwon for charging excessive fees for sessions, characterizing Olajuwon as outdated and exploiting young athletes.

Olajuwon can support Antetokounmpo’s commendation with quite the résumé. The twelve-time All-Star is inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, has two NBA titles, and an MVP award.

Antetokounmpo, 28, is progressing similarly. He has been an All-Star seven times, an MVP twice, and the 2021 NBA Champion. Being able to study from Olajuwon, one of the NBA’s most exciting players, demonstrates his strong drive to get better.
