Giannis Antetokounmpo is worried about the Bucks’ defeat against the Pacers.
The Milwaukee Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, had won 15 straight games at home before playing the Indiana Pacers for the 16th time in a row. Even though the Bucks have dominated the season, they still haven’t figured out how to beat the Pacers.
At Fiserv Forum on Monday, Indiana defeated the Bucks 122-113 to end their 15-game winning run. The Pacers had to overcome a 15-point deficit twice during the game, the most recent one occurring in the third quarter, to win their fourth straight game. On both occasions, though, they mounted a formidable comeback to win another away game.
A game-high thirty points were scored by Giannis. What stood out the most, though, was his triple-double during the match. For the Bucks, he finished with 30 points, 18 rebounds, and 11 assists. Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez each finished with 21 points. In addition, Brooks, a candidate for DPOY in the 2023–2024 season, recorded four blocks.
Giannis claimed that the Bucks were unable to come up with enough stops during the game. Additionally, he stated that his team needs to get better because they might play the Pacers in the playoffs.
“We need to work it out,” stated Antetokounmpo. “We might see them in the postseason; you never know. In two days, we’ll see them once more. All things considered, this improves us.
In the film room, the Bucks should get together and analyze what the Pacers were doing well against them, he continued.
