Superstar Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers recorded a triple-double against the Utah Jazz on Saturday, but it wasn’t his most effective performance. NBA fans’ opinions on social media about the game were mixed.
Despite finishing the road game in Utah with 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists, the eight-time NBA All-Star was unable to prevent them from losing to the Jazz, 132-125. ‘AD’s’ shooting performance was much worse, going 5-of-21 with six turnovers.
X (previously Twitter) users responded to Davis’s complicated game. What some of them had to say is below:

Despite his triple-double, Anthony Davis accepts responsibility for the Jazz defeat.
In light of the fact that they ultimately lost, Anthony Davis claimed that his triple-double against the Utah Jazz was meaningless and that he was far from effective. He accepted full responsibility for the loss.
The Lakers, without the great LeBron James due to an ankle ailment, got off to a terrific start in their road game in Utah with Davis leading the way.
But after leading 39–31 at the end of the first quarter, they were unable to withstand the Jazz’s relentless attack for the remainder of the game and ultimately lost 132–125.
Anthony Davis played well in the first half but struggled to sustain his momentum in the second. Despite his low shooting percentage of 23.8% (5-of-21), he completed the game with 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists. However, he also committed six turnovers.
The 30-year-old acknowledged their loss against the Jazz after the game, saying (via Sports Illustrated):
“Everyone but me completed their tasks. I failed to perform my duties. It goes without saying that those guys stepped up when Bron was out. Except myself. I’m on my own, then.
The Lakers, who are at 19-21 on the season and in 11th place in the Western Conference, suffered their second straight defeat.
The Lakers have a chance to make amends on Monday night at home against the OKC Thunder, who are on a roll.
Anthony Davis leads his club in scoring (25.3 points), rebounds (12 rebounds), and blocks (2.5 blocks) in 36.1 minutes of action this season in the NBA.
