One of the most well-known LA Lakers supporters is Snoop Dogg. The rapper has expressed a variety of opinions regarding the team that he has been supporting for a long time over the years. Recently, he hasn’t held back when suggesting a few adjustments to get the club back on track.
Within the Western Conference, the LA Lakers have not fared well. They were just defeated 127-116 by the LA Clippers. Anthony Davis was left to lead the squad in the absence of LeBron James during that particular game. Even with Davis’s 26 points and 12 rebounds, their local rivals were defeated.
Recently, Snoop Dogg made an appearance on “All the Smoke.” In the episode, Stephen Jackson, a former NBA player, questioned him about what he would advise Lakers president Jeanie Buss to do to get the franchise back into the spotlight.
“Jeanie, this is gonna hurt me more that it’ll hurt you,” Snoop said.
“We’re going to need to quickly relocate some furnishings. Several large furniture pieces.”We become frozen whenever a young squad visits our town. When those young thugs show up in town, we’ll be able to manage the elderly dogs and coulda, woulda, shouldas, but otherwise… “Go get us some young guns,” he continued.
The rapper, who is nominated for a Grammy, expressed disapproval of the Lakers’ supporting group for James. In addition to praising James, he had another comment on Taurean Prince.
Against the Chicago Bulls tonight, the Lakers are eager to get back in the win column.
