Marcus Rashford reportedly missed Manchester United training on Friday after being seen twice in a Belfast nightclub, where he later claimed to be unwell.
The forward was in Northern Ireland on Wednesday, but he didn’t show up to Friday’s practices because he called in sick within hours.
The Manchester United player reportedly went out to supper on Wednesday night, and footage of him entering the Thompsons Garage club nightclub appeared on social media.
But video of the Englishman at a club in the nation’s capital just hours before his scheduled arrival at Carrington has surfaced, according to The Athletic.
During his news conference prior to Sunday’s FA Cup fourth-round match against Newport County, Erik ten Hag explained that the England international would not be playing because of an illness.
The United manager announced that Rashford and Evans were both sick this morning. Players like Shaw, Maguire, Martinez, and Casemiro are returning, which is great news, but we’ll have to wait to see how they get back on the field.

Rashford celebrated his 26th birthday at the posh Manchester nightclub Chinawhite after the Red Devils’ 3-0 loss against Pep Guardiola’s team.
