NBA player LeBron James is very supportive of his son Bronny’s college career at USC Trojans. He follows the freshman’s progress closely and posts highlights of his notable moments on social media whenever he can.
One such occasion occurred last Thursday when Bronny James had a career-high seven assists in their game against the Oregon Ducks, stuffing the stat sheet.
In his 22 minutes of bench time, the younger James finished with six points, seven assists, four rebounds, and two steals.
In an effort to commemorate it, LeBron James posted a new photo of his son on Instagram as he was playing. But instead of adding a caption, it seemed like he was content to let the picture do the talking.
Unfortunately for Bronny and the Trojans, USC lost against Oregon 78-69 despite his excellent all-around performance. With their sixth straight loss, the squad finished with an 8-13 record, which equaled them for the poorest record among Pac-12 teams.
In the 13 games he has played thus far this season, Bronny James has averaged 5.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 19.5 minutes.
LeBron James has expressed his desire to play in the NBA alongside his oldest kid before ending his professional career, if at all possible.
But given his difficulties at USC and the team’s poor performance, it’s unclear if Bronny will follow through on his plan to declare for the NBA draft this year.
LeBron James is thrilled to see his son Bronny back playing basketball after a health scаre in the summer. Bronny’s basketball career was almost cut short due to a health crisis, so James is just pleased to watch his kid do what he loves on the court.
While working out with the USC me𝚗’s basketball team in July, the younger James experienced a heart arrest. Later on, it was discovered that a congenital cardiac abnormality was the culprit.
Thankfully, the sickness was curable, and he was discharged from the hospital following a few days. After his recovery, Bronny began participating in the Trojans’ inaugural season.
James was there when his son made his USC debut versus Long Beach State back in December, and he was ecstatic.
He posted his thoughts on Instagram:
