In Los Angeles, a special 2000 championship ring from Kobe Bryant’s time with the Los Angeles Lakers, which the NBA star gave to his father, is currently up for auction.

Crafted from 14K gold, this Lakers championship ring was specially commissioned by Kobe after securing his first NBA title against the Indiana Pacers in 2000, intended as a gift for his father, Joe Bryant, a former NBA player himself from 1975 to 1983.

This ring is an exact replica of the ones presented to Kobe Bryant and other Lakers players during their championship-winning season. Weighing approximately 59.6 grams and sized at 11.5, it boasts a stunning array of 40 diamonds, as detailed on Goldin’s “Elite Sports Auction” website.

Adorning the face of the ring are the inscriptions “LAKERS” and “WORLD CHAMPIONS,” while one side features the name “BRYANT” above the number 8 and the NBA logo. Additionally, this side showcases the Lakers’ impressive regular-season record of 67-15, along with their postseason record of 15-8.

As of Monday morning, bidding for this unique piece has reached $94,000.
