Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Makes Surprise WWE Smackdown Appearance in Memphis, Playfully Roasting Ja Morant, Cody Rhodes, and Seth Rollins

Morant is currently recuperating from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for the rest of the season, occurring nine games after his suspension was lifted. Earlier in the NBA season, Ja received a 25-game suspension after it was discovered that he had displayed a gun on Instagram Live in several videos.

During his appearance on Friday, The Rock jokingly referenced Morant’s previous gun-related incident with a playful jab.

“Always laughing and dancing,” The Rock quipped during his skit. “No wonder your significant other is more popular than you. The Rock’s going to make that ‘title’ disappear, even if you’re desperately trying to support them all. Son, you’re just as embarrassing as Ja Morant when he pulls out a rifle.”

“I love you Ja!” The Rock emphasized, ensuring Morant knew the insult was in good fun. “Get well soon!” After radio DJ Anthony Sain shared his thoughts on Twitter, Morant became aware of The Rock’s appearance. “Ja out here catching strays lol,” Sain tweeted.
