On Sunday, Damian Lillard unveiled new apparel as the Milwaukee Bucks took on the Indiana Pacers in the opening round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs. In front of an enthusiastic Fiserv Forum, Lillard debuted the Adidas Dаme 9.

The Dаme 9s were first made public by Damian Lillard during All-Star Weekend in February. The futuristic version he exhibited combined orange and black design elements.

Rather than wearing orange, Lillard wore a purple shoe inspired by space during the Bucks’ first-round victory against the Pacers. But on the back of the sole, there was a tinge of orange.

The official release date and technical details for Lillard’s new sneakers are not yet available.

Although there are presently no other information available, the Adidas Dаme 9s are expected to release later this year for an estimated $120 in price.

Bucks win Game 1 thanks to Damian Lillard

A spectacular effort by Damian Lillard to coincide with the release of his new shoe helped the Milwaukee Bucks defeat the Indiana Pacers 109-94 in Game 1.

Lillard scored 35 points, grabbed three rebounds, and disheveled two assists in the first half, demonstrating his dominance. Of his 19 shots, he made 11 of them, including 6 of 10 from beyond the arc.

His effort in the first half of the playoffs set a new record for the most points scored by a Bucks team.

But in 19 second-half minutes, Damian Lillard could not find the net; he missed all five of his shots and finished with just three rebounds and one assist.

“It’s important to set the tone in the playoffs,” stated Lillard following the game. We’ll be seeing this team a lot, so you want to make a nаme for yourself, especially at home. Coming out and attempting to set the tone was just my way of thinking.In Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence, Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis stepped up and both scored double-doubles. In addition to Portis’s 15 points and 11 rebounds, Middleton finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

In contrast, Myles Turner led the Pacers with 17 points and 8 rebounds, while Pascal Siakam led the team with a game-high 36 points and 13 rebounds.

All-Star for the Pacers Despite making just seven shots, Tyrese Haliburton finished with nine points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.

Given that the Bucks won just one of their five regular-season meetings with the Pacers, their first-round series against them is intriguing. In his games versus the Pacers, Antetokounmpo averaged 42.2 points, 13 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks. He is not with them.
