At the Wisconsin Sports Awards this year, “Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo took home the titles of “Athlete of the Year” and “Professional Athlete of the Year.”
Milwaukee, in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, hosted the invitation-only event to honor success in Wisconsin sports in high school, university, and professional settings.

The superstar forward for the Milwaukee Bucks is rumored to have skipped Greece’s second round of qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA World Cup next month in order to focus on getting ready for the team’s upcoming NBA season.
Giannis has not yet stated if he will be playing for Greece in September, but he is currently vacationing on Greek islands and having a great time with his brothers and friends.
