Star player Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke about the value of hard work during the event on Monday.

“With hard work, with sacrifices… if you dedicate yourself, wake up every day, and try and get better at anything you do, anything you love, and believe in your dreams, you can accomplish great things in life,” Antetokounmpo stated.

President Biden received a customized green Bucks jersey with his last name printed on the back somewhere else during the special event.

Biden praised the squad for their significant victory and joyfully took the personalized shirt.

“To all the players, that’s what you represent for so many people—pride and decency,” remarked Vice President Biden. “You represented yourself, your families, your organizations, and a great American city by staying true to who you are.”
