Jamal Musiala is ‘pencilled in’ to meet with clubs including Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United

According to reports, Bayern Munich has scheduled contract discussions with Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United target Jamal Musiala. The midfielder has made 133 appearances for Bayern despite turning 20 this year, and other teams are reportedly interested in signing him.

Musiala moved to England as a child and was a part of the Chelsea academy for eight years between 2011 and 2019 after spending six months at Southampton. He has won 25 caps for Germany and started all three of his country’s matches at last year’s World Cup.

But he returned home to sign with Bayern, and in June of 2020, at the age of 17, he made his Bundesliga debut for the club, becoming the youngest player in the history of the Bundesliga. Three months later, in an 8-0 rout of Schalke, he became Bayern’s youngest ever goalscorer, a record he held until Mathys Tel surpassed him in 2022.

The report claims that next year, Bayern will initiate contact with Musiala. The promising young player signed a contract with the Allianz Stadium powerhouse in 2021, committing him to the club until 2026. The midfield savant has been a huge draw for Munich, and the club is optimistic that he will sign a long-term contract.

Numerous clubs in Germany are vying for Musiala’s signature, giving him excellent leverage to negotiate better terms if he decides to stay in the country.

Liverpool has been watching Musiala closely, and rumors have claimed that Manchester City is a big fan. Arsenal, United, and Chelsea have also expressed interest in the player and have asked to be kept abreast of his availability status.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have been keeping tabs on the German international for years and are also interested in signing him. When the time comes for contract discussions, the player may face a crucial choice about his future.

Musiala has become one of the greatest players in the Bundesliga in recent seasons, with 32 goals and 25 assists for Bayern. He has been capped by England at the under-21 level.
