Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant paid tribute to the WNBA with his signature Nike sneakers

San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama continues to dazzle with his impressive skill set, showcasing his versatility on the court. From shot-blocking to three-point shooting and powerful dunks, Wembanyama’s abilities seem boundless.

In a game against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies, the Spurs center further demonstrated his prowess by sinking a remarkable one-legged three-pointer from just inside the Grizzlies’ logo.

Wembanyama’s incredible shot came early in the third quarter, giving the Spurs a 51-50 lead and leaving the Grizzlies in awe. His ability to contribute in such a remarkable way adds an extra dimension to the Spurs’ game.

As the Spurs strive to regain their winning form, Wembanyama’s stellar performances will be crucial throughout the season. Currently sitting at a record of 5-27 and occupying the last place in the NBA Western Conference standings, the team faces significant challenges. Additionally, the recent loss of backup power forward/center Zach Collins to an ankle injury exacerbates their situation. Collins, who started the team’s first 23 games before transitioning to a reserve role, is expected to be sidelined for up to a month.

With Collins out, Coach Gregg Popovich may increase Wembanyama’s minutes per game, recognizing the rookie’s improvement and impact on the court. While he may not play in back-to-back games just yet, Wembanyama’s performance thus far has proven that he is indeed deserving of the hype surrounding him.
